In the first part of Side-Show’s Trilogy of the Imagination, the company opens the doors to an alternative and intriguing world. Wonders arose from a nineteenth century sketch of a ceiling walker. The performance takes its audience on an odyssey through an undefined space. Perspectives are turned on their heads, imagination given free rein and curiosity fuelled. Acrobatics, scenography and costumes together create apparently impossible situations.

We wanted to make something that is unique at that one moment. Something that can only happen then and there. We want to invite people to look at the performance with this in mind, and thus make room for the emotion of wonder.
